Dineh & Co. - Canyon Road, "We are thrilled to welcome Karma Henry, an artist whose work beautifully bridges her California roots with deep ancestral connections. Born and raised in the Golden State, Henry’s inspiration stems directly from her Paiute heritage, with her reservation located near Independence, California, beneath the breathtaking Eastern Sierras. She is renowned for her captivating Geometric Landscapes, a style that masterfully references the intricate patterns of Paiute Basketry. A profound element of her artistry lies in her painting titles, presented in Nüümü (Paiute) and translated to English, offering viewers an intimate glimpse into the essential role of language in her ancestral narrative. Now a resident of Santa Fe, New Mexico, we are incredibly happy to host Karma Henry for the Canyon Road Summer Art Walk. We warmly invite you to stop by our Canyon Road location for this unique opportunity to meet the artist and experience her powerful work firsthand."
